Your Website as a Phone App
Put your business on your customers’ phones.
We build your website into an app and publish it in the Google Play store, under your business name. For iPhone, we first check that an app would give real value.

Your customers find your business in the app store, install it, and open it from their home screen.
An App in Google Play
We turn your website into an app that people find and install from the Google Play store. It opens your site full screen, with your name, your icon and your colours. It is published on your own Google Play account, under your name.
Only Where It Adds Value
Apple turns down apps that are only a website (App Store guideline 4.2). So we build an iPhone app only when it does real work beyond your site, such as alerts or features that use the phone itself. We quote it after a short review of what it would do.
Kept Up to Date
While your yearly plan runs, we update the app when your website or the store rules need it. We look after the store listing and answer what Google or Apple ask.
Built with DoctorX App
We build your app with DoctorX App, a WordPress tool made by DoctorX. It makes your website installable on phones, with your icon and an offline page that shows your phone number. It also prepares the files Google Play needs for the Android app.
Your website stays the heart of it. When you change a page, the app shows the change too.

Questions
Will Apple accept my website as an iPhone app?
Not if the app only shows the website. Apple's App Store guideline 4.2 asks for more than that. We review what an iPhone app would do before we quote it, and we tell you plainly if it is not a good fit.
Why do I need my own developer account?
The app is published under your name, so you own it and its store listing. Google and Apple also check the identity of the person or business that owns the account.
What is the 12 tester step?
Google asks a new personal developer account to test an app with at least 12 testers for 14 days in a row before it can go public. We explain how to set this up.
What does the yearly plan cover?
Updates to the app when your website, Google or Apple need them, and upkeep of the store listing. If you stop the plan, the app stays in your account but no longer gets our updates. The stores can remove apps that fall behind their rules.
My website is not on WordPress. Can you still help?
